CONNEAUT- Louise M. Potter, 75, died Thursday February 13, 2003.
She was born April 1, 1927, the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Paulinsky)
Godzsak.
She was a 1945 graduate of Conneaut High, worked at the Astatic Corporation and
then Marks Toy Factory for more than 18 years. She retired from the General
Electric base plant in 1990.
She was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, the Women of the Moose and
the American Legion 151.
Mrs. Potter enjoyed bowling, bingo, fishing, boating, shopping, traveling to
Casino's and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son James D. of Kingsville; her two grandsons, Joseph
Potter of Kingsville and Jason Potter in Tuscon, Ariz.; and one sister, Betty
Campbell of Conneaut.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward C. Potter; and two
brothers, Alex and Edward Godzsak.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Roman Catholic
Church, 480 State St., Conneaut, with the Rev. John Summers officiating. Burial
will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today, at the Raisian Family
Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St. Conneaut.
