CONNEAUT - Gloria Ann Arcaro, 71, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002.
Born May 29, 1931, in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Samuel and Anna (Peterangelo)
Zappa.
A 1948 Ashtabula High School graduate, she went to work at the Ashtabula
Telephone Co. She married Fiory (Fee) Arcaro on Sept. 24, 1955, at Our Lady of
Mount Carmel Church, Ashtabula.
She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church, Conneaut; Conneaut TOPS Club OH
971 for many years; and was a former TOPS queen.
She also enjoyed softball and fast-pitch games at Lakeview Park and was a fan of
the Cleveland Indians and Browns for many years.
She enjoyed line dancing, bingo, craft shopping and spending time with her
friends, family and grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna McLaughlin of North Kingsville; a son, David
of Conneaut; a sister, Jean May of Ashtabula; and two grandchildren, Brianna and
Connor A. McLaughlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, in 1995; and a sister,
Paulyne Pavolino.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Frances Cabrini Church,
Mill Street, Conneaut, with the Rev. Raymond Thomas officiating. Burial will be
in St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Raisian Family
Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut.
